What we are building
Deliva is a delivery marketplace for Guyana. One app for meals from local restaurants, groceries, fresh produce from the market, pharmacy products and hardware, starting in Georgetown.
We are in the pre-launch phase: signing up partners and riders and preparing the service. This website will grow into the place to browse every menu and shop we deliver from.
Built for how things work here
Delivery apps designed for other countries assume street addresses, card payments and app-only updates. In Guyana, people give directions by landmark, many pay cash, everyone uses WhatsApp, and a lot of orders are paid for by family overseas.
Deliva is designed around that: pin-and-landmark addresses, cash on delivery with proper controls, WhatsApp updates, and card payments for family abroad.
Fair to partners and riders
Partners are paid weekly with clear statements and a competitive commission agreed in writing. Riders choose their own hours and are paid weekly.
