Market Runner: fresh produce from Georgetown's markets
Most fresh food in Georgetown is still bought at the market. Market Runner is Deliva's personal-shopper service for markets such as Stabroek and Bourda: you tell us what you need, a shopper buys it, and a rider brings it to you.
Produce is sold by weight, so you approve an estimate first and pay for what was actually bought.
What a Market Runner can buy for you
- Fruit and vegetables
- Ground provisions such as cassava, eddoes and plantains
- Fresh fish and meat
- Fresh seasonings, herbs and peppers
How Market Runner will work
Write your list
Add items and quantities, for example "2 lb tomatoes, ripe".
Approve the estimate
You see an estimated total before the shopper starts.
See it before it is bought
The shopper sends a photo of the items so you can say yes or ask for something different.
Pay for what was bought
The final price follows the actual weights, and the rider delivers to your door.
