Market vendors: sell to Deliva's Market Runner shoppers

Market Runner is Deliva's personal-shopper service for Georgetown's markets. A customer sends a shopping list, our shopper buys it at the market, and a rider delivers it.

Vendors do not need an app. You sell to our shopper the way you sell to anyone else, and you get more sales without leaving your stall.

How it works from your side of the stall

  1. A customer orders

They send a list, for example ripe tomatoes and fresh fish.

  2. Our shopper comes to you

Preferred stalls get first pick for the items on the list.

  3. You are paid on the spot

The shopper pays you in cash at the stall.

  4. A photo for the customer

The shopper photographs the items so the customer sees what was bought.

What being a preferred stall means

What we ask

Money

Our shopper pays you at the stall when they buy. Vendors who prefer it may be able to be paid weekly by MMG instead; we will agree that with you.

Customers pay the shopper fee for the service. Anything we agree with you as a vendor is set out in writing before you start.

Market vendor questions

Do I need a smartphone?

How am I paid?

In cash at your stall when our shopper buys. Weekly payment by MMG may be possible for vendors who prefer it.

Do you take a commission from me?
