Can I use DoorDash in Guyana?
No. As of 14 October 2026, DoorDash lists its app as available in the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Guyana is not one of them, so DoorDash cannot deliver to an address in Georgetown, for yourself or as a gift.
Deliva is a new delivery app for Guyana, coming soon to Georgetown, and family abroad will be able to pay by card.
Plenty of Guyanese families in Queens, Brooklyn, Toronto and Brampton order on DoorDash every week. The question we hear most is simple: can I use it to send a hot meal to my mother in Georgetown? Not with DoorDash. Here is how it will work with Deliva.

Why a DoorDash gift order cannot reach Guyana
DoorDash lets you send an order to someone else, but it is still delivered by restaurants and couriers on DoorDash, in the countries where DoorDash operates. Guyana is not one of them, so a gift order to a Guyana address has no restaurant to go to.
